The NFL is less reliant on fans in the stands then any other sport .

And that’s the real issue with baseball.
Baseball is the most reliant on fans in the stands then any of the other major sports

I gotta disagree with that. How much of the game on TV do you see the fans? Think about the Lambaeu leap and all the dance nonsense. Kinda silly to do a TD dance now. What about great plays like Vikings over Saints in the playoffs? I can't picture that play without fans. TV revenue is great but game day sales are great too. For me I need fans but thats just my own view point.

I wonder if Trump is waiting to get closer to November to spring something with an executive order to open everything. I just can't see him standing by watching everything stay closed for no good reason.

Yes so am I. How much do you think game day sales generate? Have you seen the price of going?

Yes that is partial good news. They will limit the number of people and call for distancing. I wonder how that will go once the infield gets super drunk. But yes this is good news.

One outbreak on one team and it's over...Over reaction? yes.
I think the NFL season is doomed unfortunately

Teams don’t make billions from tickets and food/beer, it’s their brand “outside the stadium” that sells, TV/Merch.
It’s 8 home games for most teams.

Agree with Chop, baseball Will get hurt bad by no Ticket and food/beer sales. They’re 81 games plus make their money imo.
That is why the owners wouldn’t be disappointed to cancel season so they don’t have to pay the Players.

Have you seen the NFL TV contracts?
Compare that to the MLB contracts and get back to me .

And NFL has 8 home games a year .
Baseball 81

Ticket sales is a small fraction of revenue for the NFL compared to MLB

Good point. The NFL television contracts are where the big money is.

What do you care? U will be neither watching nor attending to protest the kneeling. Do you want them to open simply so you can protest?

And the so called "outbreak" will be over run by MSM and kill off the season even after starting.

Why do you guys want to watch a bunch of liberals playing football? More than half of them will be kneeling and making one miserable.

The only thing miserable is making everything about politics. But it is true if the game is over run by BLM I will turn it off.

We need some semblance of our culture to return to us , this virus stuff has gone too far into our lives. It's out of control.

I am not talking about BLM. I am talking about kneeling and a very large percentage are going to kneel.

If you don't believe me then just ask the players as they have said as much already.
